Discussion of the Day
Mask or no mask?
Jami J29-Mar-21
There is an end in sight for COVID with vaccines rolling out. Our city is required to wear a mask in public places, but this will soon be ending. The question is, how many will still be doing it voluntarily? Will you keep wearing a mask, why or why not? Do you think many others will keep using masks? Not just because of COVID, but maybe worried that something else will come along and better to be safe than sorry.
I know it would at least be nice not to get somewhere only to realize I forgot it and have to go back to not wear one. I probably will for longer than what's necessary. Particularly because I won't be one of the first to rush for the vaccine, even though I qualify. Though, the mask isn't to protect you, not your mask anyhow(with the exception of KN95 masks). It's to protect others from you spreading germs if you get it. Everyone wearing masks means everyone is being protected from each other. Your thoughts?
