Elon Musk and Geoff Bezos are spending millions taking people who will also pay enormous amounts of money into space, but could the money be better spent? For one thing we have Covid we need a cure for, then there's Cancer, MS and Parkinson just to name a few. I saw a program recently about a man who lost his face in a fire and had to get a government grant to fund a face transplant. That is a pretty sad state of affairs. At least Bill Gates is providing vaccinations that we in the west receive for free to poor nations putting his millions to good use, so why shouldn't Mr Musk and Bezos follow his example?
