Discussion of the Day
Big Business!
202511-Jun-21
Politicians seem to be very much influenced by Big Corporation's these days.
It's known that some have lobby groups that meddle in the politics of the major politicial party's.

Issues such as climate change, LGBTQI
Environment, Farming, Migration, Employment, Multi-Nationals, etc.

It seems the ordinary person, rarely gets a look in, listened too.
Those with the power and money do though!
Should the BIG-CORPORATIONS be listened to, or should they be denied the right to be heard ?
Maybe our political parties should give them less of their time to be heard?

  • Fax is big business rules. To take out big business never will happen as the government is with them for the money they give them in front or in the back money. If you don't like big business go to small business and start buying from them. The old saying is big business make war not peace

        • Money has always had a big say in politics from the days of the royals. The world is way too top heavy. It seems the only way the average person gets a say is through demonstrations and rioting. I could go on for hours on this topic but...........

                • Everyone or everybody in the country should be heard or listened to by all politicians & all political parties. Politicians & political parties need to listen to the ordinary person on all sorts of issues that concern them. Nobody gets missed out. Everyone has a say, & everyone can contribute new ideas to give to politicians who can carry out fixing issues that concern people.

                    • Companies/corporations have been set up by law as "legal fictions" so they may act and be treated as if they were an individual. But without actual people occupying positions within a company, said company is unable to do anything. So, no company or corporation should be given the right or privilege to speak to or try to influence any politician. Furthermore, all owners, directors, and employees of enterprises (for-profit and not-for-profit) should have the concept of limited liability removed and be held personally responsible (as it has been for charities), although some limits of vicarious responsibility would be needed.

The corruption, bribes, influence, personal agendas. The actual ruling of the country and the needs of citizens and other issues will always be second place to their own.

So unless people make a stand against them they will just keep doing it. I am really glad that I don't have Grandchildren as their future would not be very promising. I can't understand the attitude of people wanting to have heaps of Children, the way it is going the World won't be able to keep up the demand for food, Housing and heaps of other things.

They are only interested in Control, Like the Communist Dictaordhip of China and Cuba and the older one the USSR, Religion is nothing more than a scam created by men to control other men and, in particular Women. In the 3 so-called Great religions out of the MIddle eas: Judaism, Chritianity and Islam women are, no matter how their leaders deny it, still regarded as Second Rate Citizens. They are OWNED by their fathers, husbands and if they are dead other Male members of their families. If a Woman commits Adultery her husband can order her to be Stoned to Death but there are No Punisgments for Men who commit Adultery! People, according to the corrupot beliefs of these religions, can OWN Slaves and treat them as they wish! It is all clearly stated in that book all three claim to be the One True Word of God - and God can only be a Male! Work it out for yourselves and you will see how corrupt that money making business called "Religion" Is.

Almost enticing such actions from authorities as we can see on the news taken in oppressed nations. Everyone should to be heard if only to separate who are our friends or foes. This is much more than being "open minded". This is being very, very careful.
