I love and always have loved skateboarding since I was 7 years old. I didn't get a board until I was 14, but from there for about 12 years I skated a lot. I went overseas, got my first international sponser in the US, having come from New Zealand, and a day later had a car accident which sent me back to NZ in a stretcher. 5 months rehab and about 3 weeks from fully recovered, had a second car accident which left me severly disabled and unable to walk, talk or see for 10 months. From there a year and a half rehab and still challenged I started life again and in the last year have once again started skateboarding(20yrs after the accident). I'm now 50 and still cruise about a little and try stuff. Not very good with my disabilities, but still love the sport.! don't have favourite sports people or teams, but just love the skateboarding scene as a whole.

I wasn't into any sport and couldn't stand any of them but one day during lockdown I suddenly felt we should support the local rugby league team. I told my husband that I was going to support the local team and started watching the first game of the season and suddenly it all came back to me and I understood what was going on. My parents had been mad rugby fans and dragged my brother and I to every game every season. I hated it. The days were usually cold and it grew dark and we got home late and I felt it had been a wasted day. I still won't go to watch a game but I watch on TV and root for my team. Go the Eels and go the Blues!

None of them I would rather watch paint dry than watch any sports, and the sport players are over paid and people put them up on a pedal stool and make out they are something they are not. But that my own personal view.

  I was a season ticket holder and member of the supporters club for 16 of the 17 years I lived in London. One of our pubs was in the same road as the new stadium but the old one was a good walk to and from.

  I remember watching the 78 final between Arsenal and Ipswich on telly in the middle of the night in New Zealand with my father and brothers. It was an annual event but it was more about being allowed up in the middle of the night than the actual game in those days lol. I went to several semis and finals from 95 to 2011, some of which were in Cardiff whilst the new Wembley stadium was being built. Also Champions League semi in Madrid (win) and final against Barcelona in Paris (loss) in 2006.

  For years I would get up and watch it and if it went to extra time then it was no sleep before work. The Premier league final was between Arsenal and Man U. 5 people rooting for Man. U and me screaming for Arsenal.

I am not overly obsessed with it. I like the Swans in the AFL Last weekend I listened to parts of the Richmond v Hawthorn AFL game in the radio. It was a closely fought match and was quite interesting to listen to. I don't mind watching the occasional bit of tennis or cricket, either. Must admit I prefer the men's matches. Hope that doesn't make me sexist!

I enjoy watching cycling and cricket on TV. No favourite team/cyclists- i tend to just watch the whole thing, I am still trying to understand everything, how a rider will be at the front for so long, but then allow other riders and teams to just overtake them near the end of the stage, etc. I'm slowly understanding all the little bits. With cricket, i cheer on the Aussie men and women. When it comes to BBL, our family has had a close relationship with Sydney Thunder from the very first year. With the WBBL, i am following individual players more than teams. Hayley Silver-Holmes (Hobart Hurricanes) and Kate Peterson (Sydney Thunder) are both past players from our club, they played with my eldest for a number of years in Club Cricket and my hubby was their coach. There are actually quite a few players coming through the system now and making it into the WBBL and Women's state and National teams who i personally know as my eldest has either play in the same team as them, played against them or went through the NSW Academy with them. They may not be my own children, but gee I'm proud of their achievements.

None ... 10,000% dislike all sports and never ever bother playing or watching any of it. The amount of tax-payer money wasted on silly sport is ridiculous, let alone the obscene "salaries" and prize money the top players get (all paid for by the general public one way or another thanks to things like corporate sponsorship). :-(
