When you saw film footage of the floods in Florida...you might have been very surprised to see houses on fire in the middle of all that water... Hurricane Helene created a storm surge that flooded some electric vehicles, causing them to catch fire and, in some cases, ignite homes....the current advice is that you do own an EV and a hurricane is coming DO NOT park it in the garage or ANYWHERE near buildings...try and park in on higher ground (good luck with that last bit)....always good to know....oh yes...and they have advised people not to drive through flood water in them too...it just seems to get better and better, doesn't it?
