Couldn't think of anything worse ...... in and out (of a shop) as quickly as possible .... even the supermarket ....... buy what you need (necessities) ... not interested in looking like a damned clothes horse because it is 'trending' ......

Me like to buy cheap things on very good special at shop and eat it before it goes out of date. This is usually the same day I buy it. Me have to eat it very fast.

No I decide what I want ,I do like to get a good price depending whether I want or I need .I never buy because it's trendy .I like to think even tho I'm a senior, (I hate the word elderly)I like to be an individual.

:Love shopping even if it is only looking around, am lucky that I have another family member who also loves doing this. It's just a bit of innocent fun and sometimes we actually see something we like and of the money is there we will buy it!

I am a woman or less than 5 feet (just) and when I was young and even a teen it was hard to find clothes for me so it was traumatic at that age and I have hated it ever since. If I find something I like I might buy it but usually I just do what I have to and leave. I have met shopaholics and feel sorry for them as they buy for the buzz and then that's it. I knew a woman who had a storage shed full of purchases never opened. She even sometimes bought the same thing a couple of times as she found it cheaper but again it went into the storage shed - she had no room left in her home. She worked so she could buy things and had a huge credit card debt. Her husband sold their home and they moved to the country away from the Malls etc. I often wonder how that worked out. I have a comfortable townhouse which suits me. I am a minimalist I might add also. At my age, fashion does not fit well so I buy comfy stuff.

I don't enjoy shopping - I just buy what I need when I need to.

I have my own fashion statement and not follow any trendy style. But of course I love to shop and it would be great if sometimes I found some good buys. Walking is a good exercise for me too.

Trends don't bother me. If its comfortable and affordable I am happy. I shop for me not to be trendy.

I have no need to shop lately except for the basics because I know too any people with more money than sense. Especially during covid when people were cleaning out. They have given me heaps of new clothes with tags still on them. One also gives me food and other products. She buys food and other products that she doesn't use on just to get points. I can't get her to understand that the she would be better off keeping the money. Yep more money than sense!

No, I just buy what I need when I need it. However if products we use regularly are on special I will buy two instead of one.

Items which are trending I think often has a lot to do with the Season and time of the year. Special occasions often bring out special discounts! Waiting for the right moment isn't necessary best approach! I think either - waiting too long or rushing into it - can both be short of the best approach! I say choose the right moment that fits - according to your plans and others you're in league with, and then go for it! Don't wait too long and don't rush in either! :-)Edited 07-Mar-21 10:15am

Definitely wait for items to go on special as 9 times out of 10 they do in my experience.

I only shop when I need something because I may be in the minority but I hate shopping. What looks good on the hanger and on models certainly doesn't look too good on me.

Love to shop but only at Op shops or Thrift shops and only designer label. Give me a pair of Country Road black jeans any day - perhaps last year's design - over a pair of cheap Kmart jeans. They last for years. Even if they have been previously worn I don't mind but I have found that they are mostly new, having been donated at the end of the season.

Once I loved to shop but since Covic money is tight so I don't go out shopping much it is too tempting

Only buy when things are on special. Since I have not worked in over 2 years & have not been able to go cruising I have not bought myself anything new. When they allow us to go cruising again I will definately be shopping till I drop but will still only buy things on special

I am happy to shop till I drop when traveling overseas as there are so many different items to look at and buy that you don't see in your own country.

I don't like shopping. As for rushing out to buy the latest trends it reminds me of sheep following each other, I think people get Brain washed that this is the must have thing and then a couple of weeks later it is something else. They get tricked into thinking it is a great price they are buying it for, try selling it for that price a Month later. Just look at Mitsubishi, some cars are for sale for say $34,000 this week, 2 weeks later they are on run out for $30,000, if I brought one I would be brassed off with them. I even know of a Woman whose daughter owned a shop and put tins of salmon on special, she brought about 5 tins, the daughter later realised they had put the wrong sized tins (smaller out) and I have also seen things advertised 3 for a $1, then separately on the self 33 cents each so go figure.

I love to shop when there are sales going on from my favorite stores that I love to shop at. To me this is a good way to save me more money if I just buy things that are on sale for good price.

I'm not a shopper. I don't like anything about it. I couldn't care less if something is popular or 'trending. I buy what I need /want. I do like a special, as I hate overpaying for things, but it's balanced up with the effort and cost required to find a better deal.

I buy what I like when I need it and I don't care about what is trendy. If you ask me, if you think you are trendy because you "buy the latest trend", then you are far from trendy: you are just a puppet for the marketing machine. The coolest thing to be is yourself and buy what YOU LIKE and WANT and NEED and not be influeneced by what others, brands "influencers", celebrities etc say (or are paid to say) and that will always be trendy.
