When we were younger in the 1970s and 80s. We would have what they called block parties. And we would shut down the street, and all of our neighborhood and neighbors would come out and set up chairs, tables, games, pools, food, all kinds of things to keep the community together and unified. We don't see that anymore. Nowadays, some of the wonderful things that would keep communities together have gone away, which has had the effect of the families and kids not wanting to get to know each other and be there for each other. I think block parties or community parties should make a comeback, so we can become closer, which would help this beautiful world ? Become filled with more kindness and love.
