I do not understand the reason why the weather report for Australia is sometimes given on the television morning show from overseas. This week, our weather report was given from Morocco. Today the weatherman was in Casablanca.
I do not understand why the weather report for Australia needs to be given from overseas. I am aware of the promotional message to contact a specific travel agency and guess the weather report is sponsored by this company.
I am interested in finding out the weather for the day and have no interest in finding out about the workings of a foreign city.
Do other people consider it necessary that travel tips about the overseas city where the weatherman is broadcasting from is relevant to the weather in Australia?
