It is a bit hectic 4 me this Christmas as we have just moved into a new home.

I CAN'T WAIT, ONE OF MY FAVORITE HOLIDAYS AND WITH ALL MY FAMILY TO SEE THEIR SMILES WITH ALL THEIR GIFTS..!!!

It wont be the same for me this year my mother passed away in july but I will spend it with my daughter and her family but it wont be the same this year

In the last few years both my parents have passed away so Christmas won’t be the same.

Was Santa Claus at the malls for 15 years and really enjoyed making children and parents happy.

It won't be the same for us as both my parents are in residential care facility now so things will be very different this Christmas

Husband stuck overseas. Not going to be a good one if he's not home. I'll be all alone.

When we do get together I cherish each moment. It's difficult missing my children who have passed. I decorate for my grandchildren. If not for them, we would be sitting in our home with nothing out. Be blessed with what you have now.

I absolutely loved Christmas when the children were young, now that I am a lot older it's lost it's appeal. Not even going to put up the Christmas tree this year for the first time.

Xmas day is also my birthday.Fact! A mere 51 years old next month.

I never used to think about Xmas too much, but last year and this year Iv absolutely loved the thought of it. No idea why the change? Age, Pandemic? maybe?

I think it is exciting while you have young children and also young grandkids but as they get older and the way society has changed kids just say I want and not cheap things we are talking the latest in technology. The spirit of Christmas has gone it's boils down to how many dollars one spends . We also tell our kids not to speak to strangers but what do we do take them and put them on a strangers lap . Grew up with snow at Xmas building a snowman and having snow ball fights with siblings a real Xmas tree and a cooked turkey and a roaring fire to keep us warm here it is different as the heat is stiffling as you a traditional Xmas dinner I used to do it every year now I passed it on to my daughter but you can't always have all the family together. Merry Christmas everyone !!!!

Who's excited for Christmas? Definitely not me! However, I am an atheist and Christmas is just another day for me!

No, it is just another day. Actual date for Christmas for those who think of it the way it was intended should be October but it was moved to December for religious recruitment purposes (to convert both pagans and people of other faiths into Christianity). Orthodox Christmas is in January (except for the Greeks who do it with the Catholics in December. Why should you get excited when people tend to behave even more horribly and more entitled in this period? How can you get excited if you are working in this period or you live in a town that will get invaded by drop in holiday makers (which means lots of loud and obnoxious parties)?

Not me. I find it expensive, I have to cook (usually but I said no this year) and pay for the food etc. Money is too tight this year for me to buy presents, put on a meal etc. I find it all just over blown these days. I cannot stand the Xmas songs in the shopping centres and it is nothing like it used to be when I was young and when I also had little children. The magic has been taken out of Xmas with all the big business cash grabs.

I LOVE Christmas! I started decorating last week and we put up the tree last night!
