Discussion of the Day
When do you change name?
EnBird2423-Dec-23
In today's society, it is so different growing up compared to the olden days. Now take this as an example, you're getting married & it is the biggest day & memories of your life to last forever. I was brought up that the man usually leads & also is the man of the house. You get married in his church & take his surname to be yours. Usually this what happens, but not many times, unfortunately. I in my opinion I am so against the rule of women keeping their surname, once they get married. It really should change to your husbands/partner name. How do you feel by not changing your name when you are married? Is this really ideal to keep & when you're raising your family to have two names?
