How often have we said that someone is "just jealous" when they have offended us in some way.
I was a bit shocked one day when one friend told me that another had said this about me after I'd said I didn't think a certain outfit would suit her. I knew she really liked the outfit, but I truly thought she would look better in something more suitable for her weight and shape.
I worried over this for some time and concluded that while she has a lot of expensive things that I would like to have, I do not begrudge her for having them at all. I don't think I deserved her remark and wonder if I should apologise anyway. I'd be grateful tfor any suggestions.
