Shopping for Groceries
Lately when we go shopping to our local Large Store (not sure if I can say which company it is) we have noticed there are a large number of food items that are being pushed that are not made or produced in Australia. For example Bacon, on the back of the packet it states 8% made/produced in Australia some go up to 18%, there was 1 company that was 98% Australian they are no longer on display ? We now buy our Bacon from the local butcher (much cheaper too). Then we wanted Beetroot, heaps of tins from China, nothing from Australia - until I got almost down on the floor and found 1 Australian grown/produced Beetroot 100% Australian. Has anyone else seen this? We must support our Farmers, what do you think?
