Early motor vehicles were powered by steam, and drivers needed to have somebody walk before the vehicle waving a flag, to warn others of impending danger.
We have come a long way since then, and no longer need to waive those flags.
Similarly, when Nuclear Energy was in its infancy there were risks and accidents, but whether you realise it or not, Nuclear Reactors are everywhere now - both on and deep down in every ocean, as well as in most major city hospitals to catalyse nuclear medicine.
Nuclear Energy is clean, and increasingly more safe today than what it was 10, 25 or 50 years ago, so we should embrace it.
