When my kids came home one day from School, they were both REALLY worried...the teacher had told them the icecaps were melting, and sea levels were already rising..." Are we going to be OK, Dad?"... I said that the people on the seafront would have to move...but we lived at the top of a massive hill...so we would be able to go fishing in the back garden, and I'd buy a boat to go shopping...the look of relief on their little faces...and them falling about laughing afterwards...if you really need to tell little kids harsh or terrible things (why?) BE NICE about it...right?...anyone else experienced this sort of thing?
