When you disappear off Rewardia and leave no trace that you were ever there...all your posts and conversations....which in itself is weird...given the circumstances....its nice to know that whatever you put up in discussion of the day cannot be removed and is preserved...we are starting to get quite a list..... aren't we... I was not so lucky to inherit anything good, just the Irish Red Hair and the Temper that goes with it, cause I can not just blame the Irish for the temper, I am also 50% Maltese, don't know which is the worst

I inherited everything from my father and nothing at all from my mother. We have nothing in common other than DNA and I have checked just to make sure. In fact although it does say she is my mother I don't seem to have even inherited her German DNA which is quite odd. I had expected to get 50% of her German ancestry but instead I got 75% French, some English and a small amount of Danish, none of which mum has. But then no-one else in the family has the same blood group as me either.

I inherited Mum's large teeth but Dad's small jaws and mouth. I inherited and passed on Dad's astigmatism and dry eyes but Mum's glaucoma. Perhaps my optimism and patience came from both of them.

I got my dark hair, brown eyes from my Dad, shortness from Mum and well I have more will power but my fatness from my Dad and Ma. I hope I have my Ma's sense of business and My Dad's too. I am kind to most unless you upset me then rarely I am not willing to forgive. Grudge holder I am but not often at all. I am down to earth and I don't like liars, some can't handle it when I tell the truth. That's me in a nut shell.

I look very much like my mother. We have a genetic disease that came through my mothers side of the family and thankfully I haven't inherited that. My Nana passed away from it, my mum passed away at 61yrs and my younger sister is dieing from it. Such a terrible disease to inherit.

  Heart problems from my father's side? A few on side side did have heart problems. My dear dad died from a heart attached at 45 years of age. My sibling are all aged from 64 to 69. None of us has any heart problems but because of our family history we have all been on statin drugs from a young age. We also have an strong interest in dietary issues associated with cholesterol-associated heart disease. I guess this is the reason for our good heart health. I find it quite amusing that I am very often told that I look like my mum by people who have never met or seen my dad, but anyone who has seen both my mum and dad I am told that I look just like my dad.

my old man's dog named "peka", and the horse named "paka " Those two were inseparable. when the old man passed away, I got to look after them, and they look after me. Paka fell into the hole and died of his injuries, I was heartbroken, and Peka did not want to leave the place where I burry Paka.she was so sad For two weeks, she stayed there.sadly she died of heartbroken. i burried her on the same spot, and planted acoconut tree on it, that coconut tree is still standing, 50years old coconut tree

I think I look like a mix. My dad is European and my mum is Asian. Growing up there wasn't a lot of mixes in school so I remember getting teased a lot, now it's so common. I get my logic patience and kindness from my dad and the irrational thinking from my mum. Thankfully logic usually wins.

I inherited green eyes and brown hair obviously from my Irish side. My son inherited blonde hair and grey eyes from my Danish Grandfathers side. Genetically there is cancer on both sides of the family with my immediate family passing from it (4 members) and many uncles, aunts, and cousins also which I have lost count but also many who have so far survived breast cancer.
