Paranormal Activity
Alba 144983725-Feb-24
Sometimes we hear, see or experiment something that is not normal. We try to find a rational explication, but can't find one. Maybe was the wind blowing, maybe was the of house pipes, maybe were my child playing during late hours or my dogs barking. Sometimes is not ourselves the ones one live those experiences. Maybe you know someone who had this kind of encounters. I personally haven't this kind of experiences, but there's a lot of people out there that say yes, and explain their stories. Sometimes not all scary, there are ones that are even tender and caring. Not all spirits are bad. I mean, If your beloved grandfathers presence in the room, doesn't make sense he wanted to kill you, maybe he's there only to say hi.
Do you believe in paranormal activity? Do you think that there's people with special sensibility for it? Do you think that is related to religion or fantasy, or something between?

    • I believe in it yes but i think everyone can experience some just choose not to acknowledge
      ·
      • Sure, there is probably lots of things going on we dont know or cant understand
        ·
        • I believe in the spiritual. Prefer not to call it paranormal. I know some people who believe in ghosts. I need proof, and usually claims of paranormal contact are hoaxes.

          • I believe with all my heart and soul that we are constantly in contact with others. I've experienced 'knowing' or 'seeing' or 'feeling' all my life as far back as I can remember. Sometimes I'd dream someone died and wake to find they died in the night. When I 'knew' my sister had her baby one morning, I wondered why didn't anyone call me. About an hour later I got a call saying the baby has spina bifida. When I heard on the radio one morning that a man was missing, I 'knew' immediately "He's in the bin". I didn't know what it meant, but a few hours later the radio said they'd found this man.... shot, dead, in an apple bin in a local orchard. When the radio said there was an elderly man missing and if you see him to call the police. Again, immediately I 'saw him lying face down in water'. A few hours later, the radio said this man was found in a creek east of town, drowned, no foul play suspected. This is just a wee sample of my life experiences. The latest is just from a couple of weeks ago. My mother died close to 19 years ago and when I learned that spirits can give physical signs that they're near, I asked my Mom to give me dimes. I told my family about finding dimes in strange places, sometimes literally dropping from thin air. The ones who believe are finding dimes in random places and know they had to have been put there by our Mom/Grandma/Great-Grandma. The ones who don't believe think we're nuts and say they never find dimes or anything else. My Dad died Nov. 27 last year. My one sister and I have been doing most of the cleaning up of the house. We keep saying how we feel them when we're there and that they know we're doing this for them. One particular day, we were putting Dad's jackets and coats into a bag to take to a thrift store. I was making sure all pockets were empty before my sister folded and bagged them. I said I feel them really strongly right now, like they're almost touching me. She said she does too. The next pocket I checked had a dime. I said 'oh, my goodness!' and when my sister looked at me she said I look like a saw a ghost. I said I almost have and that I was just saying I feel them really close. She smiled that they're there in the house in that moment and letting us know it. She kind of chuckled and said, "Well, where's mine??". Next pocket.... a dime!! I said, "Right here!". She looked at it as I handed it to her and we both got teary and covered with goosebumps. We'd both 'felt' their spirits in the room and the spirits gave us each a dime!! In that moment of pure joy and peace I also felt really bad for anyone who doesn't believe in spirits or their communicating with us through signs and physical proof. Some will see it in a cardinal that lands on their shoulder or hand, or a butterfly in the middle of nowhere coming to land on their finger, or a deer coming up close and having no fear..... and some of us find it in dimes. Dimes in a pocket you'd never used, falling from the sky, being where they weren't a few seconds ago, in your path in the middle of nowhere, .... everywhere and anywhere. I repeat, I have no doubt that spirits are among us. NOTE: I pray that no scary or bad ones ever contact, or frighten, or in any way make themselves known to my family and loved ones. And they are all protected. And several of them also 'know', 'see' and 'feel' things most others are blind to. We all think it's pretty awesome and a real privilege to have this gift.

Thank you. I bet your stories are just as interesting! My Dad, and 2 of my 4 children also have the same gift. It's very sad that people who don't understand can't see the joy and also honour that goes with this.

            • Do I believe in paranormal? NO! DO I think there are people with sensibility for paranormal activities? NOT SURE (However, we all have ESP (Extra Sensory Perception) - lurking in us (for survival purposes.))! Do I think paranormal activity is related to religion or fantasy, or something in between? NO (Unless you have an overactive imagination with NO common sense in play!).

              • I do strongly believe in it. I have had things happen when I was younger that could not be explained by anyone. I have things that happen to me in my dreams. I dreamt my brothers accident and death a month before. When I was living in a side by side there was a little boy bouncing a ball at the top of the stairs. My neighbor on the other side of the side by side seen him too. When my brothers girlfriend at the time was pregnant they found out it was a boy. Not long after I had a dream that my mom came to me and told me the babys name my brother just freaked out like how did you know. When she was pregnant with her second child the person who performed the ultra sound told her it was a boy. Again I dreamt of my mother who was holding a baby wrapped in pink holding a little boys hands. I told her she was having a girl. Lo and behold she had a girl. I get a sixth sense sometimes before something happens. The most recent experience I had was I dreamt of all of my immediate family members who have passed. My sister passed away a few weeks later. It is not something I always like as I wonder if it is just a nightmare or going to happen

                • You have premonitions. This is an extremely intuitive gift. Not all dreams are,and I know from personal experience it can be very distressing. As much of a gift as it is a curse. Sometimes keeping a dream diary helps, you can reflect or even meditate to help give you clarity and peace to accept what you've been shown. For myself I don't share most of my dreams unless I feel compelled to. I also find rose quartz, amethyst and lavender comforting to have near me when I sleep. I hope for you that your dreams are swet and of happy events. much love

                ·
                • I will believe it when I see it!
                  ·
                  • It is all hocus pocus. Some many scientists, people have looked into this and found no evidence. One person heard of people saying in this particular room shadows crossed their path and he stayed there and it happened to him. Being of a scientific mind he went looking and found some short in an electrical field was causing this event due to the brain being affected by the electricity - or something like that. Hysteria through religion is quite a common thing albeit not so much these days. I also think some people conjure them up through hysteria, grief or the like.
