In the 1970s we were as a family for about 4 months we could not find a place to live there was lots of housing, but landlords did not want to rent to families then with children. We did finally get a place, and my husband worked at several places and in 4 states before we could get a place to live. Today there is a homeless epidemic caused by inflation and by greed. The new homeless have jobs but are priced out of affordable housing. They just cannot afford the overpriced rentals and costs of getting into a place like first and last and deposits and utilities. Some are moving in with 2 3 families and still barely making it. What steps would you do to not stay homeless? What can you do to help other people who are homeless? Do you or have you known anyone who is homeless? Christ said we would always have poor Matt 26:11 and Christ, said we should help our own family, friends, etc first not the neighbors that includes nations taking care of their own people first.
