I was married twice, and my second ex is still a very dear friend of mine.
I don t love him as a partner obviously, this was the reason we split up, but I still appreciate him a lot as a friend.
Note we live in 2 different continents and our only contact is FaceTime every 3 weeks. He is very well-read, and I enjoy discussing topics like arts, movies, and politics with him.
Our conversations are very enriching on both sides.
