Discussion of the Day
Monkeypox!
Zing04-Jun-22
We have been through Covid, and it's still around, of course.
The other day, the WHO Organisation, mentioned the recent outbreak monkeypox.
Which is a bit similar to smallpox and chicken pox, having expressed their concerns. It's been spreading into around 15, ---countries or so... simultaneously.
They can't rule out another pandemic, but think it's less likely than Covid to spread everywhere.
It can kill, but in most cases people get better.
They are uncertain as to why a previously...contained virus....that is rarely seen in the WEST, is spreading so easily?
It being mostly in Africa.
Isn't it about time we started building proper quarantine facilities and stop putting more pressure on our hospitals?
