My Mum & Grandma were very superstitious & some of those superstitions rubbed off on me! I will not walk under ladders as it is unlucky. Grandma would never have peacock feathers in her house - they were unlucky. If I see a black cat, to me that is a lucky omen. If my mum dropped a utensil, then we were going to get visitors! If she spilt salt, she would throw some over her left shoulder so she wouldn't have an argument. I love finding a four leaf clover, that is so lucky. Breaking a mirror was 7 years bad luck! Does anyone else have suspicion tendencies? What suspicions do you have? |
