Under the current Covid-19 global pandemic situation and Lockdowns, many small businesses will permanently close, office workers are being forced to work from home, many retailers being forced to sell their goods online to survive. Imagine a world where manufacturing companies completely turn to using robots to manufacturer their goods to avoid the spread of the virus at their factory. Trucks without drivers to deliver goods. Trains, trams, buses and taxis without drivers. Big companies closing their offices to save money and to stop spread of virus and order their workers to work from home instead. Retail shops getting fed up with regularly not being able to pay their rent for their shop fronts so they permanently close all of their stores ( including supermarkets ) and they switch to selling all of their goods online. Each online order is picked and packed at warehouses by robots and delivered to your home by driverless trucks, which upon arriving at your home toots it's horn and YOU have to go to the truck to pick up your order. IF this became the new way of life, we have to think about the millions of people whom would NOT qualify to receive a credit card due to their credit rating; therefore they would NOT be able to order and pay for goods online. |
