Growing up we had the simple joys of the plasticine world of Gumby and Pokey.. It wasn't until later in life and happily so I discovered the joys of Wallace and Gromit's brilliant Feathers Mcgraw.. in the Wrong Trousers . . The first animation took 5 yrs to make .This is the breathtaking great train chase;)) https://youtu.be/t8T8bStabq0

I think we are of a similiar vintage. Pre school age Sesame street was the bomb! And later the Muppet show :) As a kid/young person I liked the Bionic woman, Charlie's Angels & Mork and Mindy. I watched Little house on the Prairie (though even then I thought it was too sachrine, I still watched it lol), same for the Brady Bunch. Some of my other favs were Dr Who, Star Trek, The goodies, Cop Shop, Count down, Mash, The Addams Family. There was another Sci Fi called Space 1999 that I was obsessed with at one stage.

It sounds like we are indeed lol...I just could never get in to Mash but loved the Muppets :) Yes agree Little house on the prairie was definitely very clean image lol but Laura Ingles was very similar to me which was probably why I watched it through the years.Brady bunch and the Waltons were very prim and proper too lol..Big change compared to todays TV viewing where I now watch shows like American horror story and many other horror, thriller and fantasy themes.

I don't think these were favourites but there was Sugerfoot, Have Gun Will Travel, Cisco Kid, Lone Ranger, I Love Lucy, The Honeymooners, Mary Tyler Moor Show and more of the first shows on TV. The Mickey Mouse Club was another early runner. In their time were all entertaining but dated now of course.
