Survey qualification.
Dada WA13-Dec-24 12:20 pm
Should there be a limit on how many questions can be asked for qualification? I just tried a survey and qualification took about 8 minutes and about 40 questions only to be screened out. This is way too much. What are yout views on this.

The system can be exhausting and also disappointing if you are ultimately screened out or told survey is now finished after spending an eternity answering questionnaire.

I agree, sometimes you get near the end of a survey and get screened out.

Ridiculous amount of pre-screening questions. Research companies want and expect honest, well thought answers, how about survey participants receive interesting, meaningful surveys to complete without the constant bla bla bla.....screened out! (common sense/intelligence goes both ways!)

I agree it’s so frustrating. Sometimes I’m screened out of at least 6 surveys one after the other

I agree. Surely your demographic, age and sex would be enough. More than that and I assume that I am being screened out because my opinions conflict with the answers THEY want, which defeats the purpose of quantities social research and not a true indication of public opinion. Just saying...and i always give true, concise answers so shouldn't be screened out for making silly remarks that aren't relevant to topic.

Agree. And often in the survey it becomes clear what brand is sponsoring it. Then you can answer as they want or tell the truth and get screened out.

Ask what state you are in followed by asking for postcode. Postcode should be enough.

A lot of time is wasted to see if we're paying attention, so they'll ask your age, then the year you were born. They'll ask how many children do you have and you answer 0, then the next question asks for the ages of your children lol.

The survey company can have a free survey before handing you over to the real survey or throwing you out... I generally don't answer more than 4....

There was some confusion on my account so I was asked to send a picture of my License so that I COULD PROVE to "REWARDI" that I was really the person that was asking to REDEEM MY POINTS. I appreciate the fact that they are making sure no one else could help themselves. Well they now have that ID of mine & I will wait to see how long it takes before I get permission to release my points. Hopefully tomorrow.

Well what did you put into your Taco's ??? or into your sandwich you took to the beach ??? These are the scintillating questions one must clearly and succinctly answer in order the then be able to advise whether you are Male, Female or Something else.

No I think there should be as many qualification questions as the survey company thinks there needs to be

Until they are hacked. No sites are immune. The less personal information they have the better. I do ok even though I refuse some requests for more details. Gift cards a good idea as you dont need to provide bank details.

Yes I don’t do anything like bank details I just do everything else because everything else doesn’t ask for that plus I never get asked for that anyways and don’t even have a bank account and have never had any problems since I started using surveys sites years ago I’ve never had any problems with my email or anything getting stolen or hacked and it won’t happen I have tons of anti virus and anti hacking software on my phone which is where I am on rewardia all the time

It happens believe me. Ive been doing surveys for quiet a few years , like you. But I had a problem with email about 3 years ago which required having to create and use a new email address for rewardia. Other survey sites I am using had no problems, only rewardia. I lost nothing but inconvenience luckily. Some surveys in rewardia, which are duplicates of other companies, require more qualification. eg Qualifications questions for pure profile surveys differ from company to company. Makes no sense but it happens.
