Do you think the Covid-19 pandemic situation in Australia is going to become as bad as it is in other countries?

Over a period of 4 consecutive days, New South Wales has had 3 days of over 1000 recorded infected people within a 24 hour period AND one day of over 800.
In YOUR opinion do you feel that the spread of Covid-19 within NSW is now totally out of control?
This virus has spread from NSW into Victoria, Queensland, New Zealand and the odd few cases in other States.
Numbers within Victoria are increasing. In Queensland and other states the Premiers have acted quickly and minimised cases.
In New Zealand, all because of ONE infected person travelling from NSW to New Zealand the next day they found ONE other infected person, followed by 2 more the next day and although Jacinta Adern very quickly placed NZ into a hard lockdown the latest figures I heard for NZ was over 90 cases in a 24 hour period.
Due to the rapid spread of the "Delta" strain and the very high number of infections within NSW, do YOU feel Australia is now heading towards the daily numbers in countries like USA, the UK etc? OR do you think the Australian state governments will get it under control before it gets that bad?
