My understanding is that the British Empire messed up everything..but unlike its strange decisions in sorting out India...they were very vocal in stopping the establishment of Israel where it is now..,which was driven through by the UN...a massive mistake..the UK seemed to have to be in favour of a jewish state in Africa..wouldn't that have been wonderful in view of current politics?
