It's all very well living close to one another but what do you do when next door's kids run riot. I have a small garden and have planted a tree at the end of the garden. It's only 4 years old and has doubled in height and this years has masses of oranges. A few branches over-hang next doors garden...its in a corner away from the house and sitting areas. The oranges are hard as they are not ripe. The teenagers picked them on their side and then hurled them onto my and my neighbours rooves. Their mother says its my fault and I should cut down the tree as if oranges fall they will attract mice and insects. No apology or sorry. I will of course cut the tree back as the fruit ripen but I'm having to pay to have my roof checked for broken tiles or solar panels. We've found 16 oranges so far and still have some in gutters I can't reach. |
